The Whiteman Base Community Council (BCC) consists of more than 300 people representing 20 communities. The group meets monthly at Whiteman AFB. Each community is assigned a liaison squadron from Whiteman, and members of that unit participate in a wide range of events with their community partner. The BCC also works closely with base to plan special events such as the annual open house and the Wings Over Whiteman Air Show.

Objectives Include:

The BCC meets the first Wednesday of each month at noon at Mission’s End unless otherwise specified due to holidays or special events such as guest speakers or evening socials.

The BCC has a board of directors which is composed of representatives from the communities around Whiteman AFB.

Facts:

Whiteman AFB is the home of the B-2 Spirit and also hosts the Air Force Reserve’s 442nd Fighter Wing, the Missouri Air National Guard’s 1-135th Aviation Battalion and the Navy Reserve’s Maritime Expeditionary Security Division 13.
