The Whiteman Base Community Council (BCC) consists of 18 communities, which surround the Base in Knob Noster, MO. Each community is assigned a liaison squadron from Whiteman. This allows Airmen the opportunity to serve their community and for each community to provide engagement for the Airmen and their families to enjoy events year round. The BCC also works closely with base leadership to support special events such as the Wings Over Whiteman Air Show, Whiteman Spouses Club, Annual Awards Banquet, Adopt an Airman and Airman Home for the Holidays Programs, and many others on and off base.

Objectives Include:

The BCC meets on base the first Wednesday of each month at noon at Mission’s End unless otherwise specified due to holidays or special events such as guest speakers or evening socials.

The BCC has a board of directors that is composed of community leaders from the communities that make up BCC. This board stewards the monies from BCC membership, corporate sponsorships, and donations.
